Marriage Preparation Course at SPS

The Marriage Preparation course follows material written by Nicky and Sila Lee, who have been married for over 30 years and speak regularly on relationships and marriage preparation. They are co-authors of The Marriage Book.

The evenings are designed for any engaged couple. While based on Christian principles, the course is relevant and helpful for any couple with or without a Christian faith or church background.

Topics covered include:
    Communication
    Commitment
    Resolving conflict
    Keeping love alive
    Shared values

The evening includes dessert and coffee. There is a talk presented on DVD, followed by an opportunity for each couple to discuss issues raised. There is no group work. Each couple has the chance to discuss these issues with a married 'support couple' if they wish.

The cost of the course is £40 per couple which covers dessert and drinks for 5 evenings, materials and an on-line “FOCCUS” questionaire. Bursaries are also available, please contact us and we will be pleased to discuss this option.
