Invite 2012

Here at St Paul’s we have designated 2012 our year of evangelism. We want you to invite friends, neighbours, colleagues and family to your Connect Group, to a Sunday Service or to Alpha. If each one of us leads one person to faith in Jesus this year, the church will double in size and that would be amazing.

To equip you to do that, the first half of the year is dedicated to training in personal evangelism and apologetics. In the second half of the year there will be a number of events specifically designed for you to invite people to.

Coming Up:
The Reason for God (June-July) An exploration of common objections to the Christian faith such as ‘What about science?’ ‘What about other religions?’ and ‘What about choice?’
Irresistible Jesus (Oct-Dec) An introduction to the ‘Irresistible Jesus’ from the earliest gospel; the Gospel according to Mark.
The Alpha Course: (Autumn term) As always, a wonderful way to invite people to discover the Christian faith. Running over 9 weeks in the Autumn term. More details to come.

We would like to invite you to get involved with Invite 2012. You can do that in two simple ways:
1. You can pray for 5-10 people you meet with regularly who don’t know Jesus. Start to pray for them every day. Share your prayer list with your Connect Group so you can pray together.

2. Invite those you are praying for to one of the events that are being held throughout the year
